Well that didn’t take long. After an emergency meeting, reports are that they’ll go back to the old qualifying system for Bahrain (which still has a race? Really?)

Good. That was a disaster.

Good. From what I was reading I thought they might just go back to the old system for Q3 instead of the whole thing.

The whole thing was a shit show. If they let cars finish a hot lap, then it might work. But there were no cars on track, and too many drivers just giving up.

That’s great news, I am watching it now and it is worse than I thought it was going to be.

It really was terrible. Buxton commented early in the broadcast saying it could be fun, but it ended up being a fun first 2 minutes and total shit for the remainder of it. I much prefer the suspense of everyone crossing the line after the checkered flag. That's what made qualifying so exciting.

Yeah to see something like Vettle and Kimi, get out of the car with 4 minutes left in Q3 was unbelievable. Vettle said something like, we said it was going to be bad, and now it turned out to be bad” and I agreed with him.
Haas was screwed out of Q2 it seemed like also.
